TRISON deployed a large-scale airport digital signage network at Barcelona–El Prat, combining iconic LED installations with 114 distributed displays across the full passenger journey.
Barcelona–El Prat is one of Spain’s busiest international gateways, handling a diverse and continuous passenger flow across multiple terminal zones. Exterior Plus required a communication infrastructure capable of delivering both high-impact visual presence and consistent coverage — from check-in and boarding areas to arrivals, baggage claim and commercial spaces.
TRISON responded with a dual-layer strategy. Iconic large-format LED installations create high-impact moments at key passenger touchpoints throughout the terminal. Meanwhile, a dense network of 114 digital displays ensures continuous communication coverage along every passenger route. Together, these two layers form a scalable and flexible ecosystem adapted to the operational and architectural complexity of El Prat.
From boarding zones to arrivals and commercial spaces, Barcelona–El Prat’s LED installations cover every high-traffic area of the terminal.

The deployment includes large-format LED cubes positioned at key locations throughout Barcelona–El Prat, delivering multi-face synchronised content visible from multiple angles. Additionally, walkway-integrated LED structures and large horizontal screens extend the installation across boarding zones, arrivals and taxi access points. Together, these elements create over 300 m² of active LED surface — forming a series of high-impact visual landmarks across the terminal.
Horizontal LED screens installed along transit corridors deliver high-visibility communication at eye level throughout the terminal. Furthermore, each installation supports multiple content configurations — from full-surface brand campaigns to segmented formats serving different advertisers simultaneously. The result is a flexible communication surface that maximises both visual impact and commercial value across El Prat’s busiest transit routes.

A dense network of digital displays ensures no passenger route goes without communication coverage across Barcelona–El Prat.

At Barcelona–El Prat, TRISON deployed 114 digital mupis across the terminal — configured in multiple formats to suit each location. Specifically, the network includes floor-mounted single- and double-sided units, elevated double-sided structures and integrations within baggage claim areas. Displays of 75″, 85″ and 98″ allow content adaptation based on location, visibility and passenger flow — ensuring consistent coverage throughout the terminal.
The mupi network extends communication across departure gates, arrivals corridors and commercial spaces, forming a cohesive layer of digital communication throughout El Prat. Each unit integrates active ventilation, internal electronics and maintenance access panels, ensuring reliable operation under continuous use. Additionally, elevated structures are specifically designed to optimise viewing angles for passengers in motion. Every zone, every route, every passenger touchpoint — Barcelona–El Prat’s digital signage network leaves no area of the terminal uncovered.
