TRISON engineered a transparent LED store display for the new Lefties flagship in Bucharest. The screen forms a custom architectural element within the store design.
Lefties wanted its new flagship to feel architecturally consistent. The design could not rely on visible screens or added technology. However, the store still needed digital communication points across menswear, womenswear and kids sections. It also needed a way to show customers live fitting room availability during peak hours.
TRISON co-created a transparent LED glass display with Lefties’ design and interiors teams. The team built the screen as a structural element rather than an overlay. Additionally, TRISON replicated the same concept at multiple points across the store. A real-time fitting room signage system, connected to store operations, completed the solution.
A transparent LED store display designed as part of the store, not on top of it.

The Bucharest store builds on TRISON’s earlier work with Lefties on the E-White Concept Store. It evolves the same digital retail approach, using the store’s own architecture as the display surface. In the womenswear area, for example, the transparent LED glass sits directly within the clothing displays. It blends lifestyle imagery with the surrounding collection rather than standing apart as a separate screen. As a result, the display reads as part of the fixture, not an addition to it.
The same transparent LED system reappears in the kids area. Here, it takes the form of a freestanding unit near the checkout point rather than a built-in fixture. TRISON schedules content centrally across the store, so imagery stays consistent with the rest of the concept. Consequently, the format can change to suit a different layout without breaking the visual language.

In menswear, the display sits at the far end of the central aisle. This makes it the third application of the same system within the store. TRISON positioned it in the sightline from the entrance, so it draws customers through the collection. As a result, the space gains a clear focal point without extra signage or wayfinding elements.
A digital display at the fitting room entrance shows real-time room availability. This helps customers find a free room without waiting at the counter. The store’s content management system feeds the screen directly, so availability updates automatically as rooms are occupied or released. Therefore, congestion drops at the entrance during peak hours, and staff no longer need to check manually.
