Thank you for subscribing! A multi-floor retail LED integration combining interactive digital touchpoints, a custom LED ceiling and branded experience zones across the FC Bayern World flagship in Munich.
FC Bayern required a digital retail environment spanning multiple floors of a historic building in Munich city centre. The concept had to honour more than 120 years of club history while delivering modern brand communication. Every digital element needed to feel purposeful — integrated into the architecture rather than applied to it.
TRISON Germany approached the project as a layered integration — each floor with its own digital logic, all connected within a single coherent brand environment. The solution combined high-resolution LED modules, custom-manufactured ceiling panels, interactive displays and sensor-based elements, designed to work together across a complex multi-level space within a listed building.
Integrated retail experience across multiple floors — one connected digital environment, purpose-built for FC Bayern World.
FC Bayern’s diamond motif required a ceiling solution that no standard product could deliver. TRISON Germany worked with specialist manufacturers to produce bespoke LED modules, assembled on-site to form the diamond shape above the main staircase. The finished installation plays full-motion content visible from multiple levels. Additionally, the angled panel configuration creates a visual focus point that draws visitors through the space — from ground floor up to the upper retail areas.

The “Forever Number One” installation positions three trophy display towers at the heart of the store. Each tower integrates a high-resolution vertical screen, flanked by LED panels displaying the club’s championship numbers — 30, 6, 20. The surrounding wall plays a continuous particle animation in gold tones. Furthermore, the screens cycle through trophy content, giving the installation a living quality that static displays cannot achieve. The result connects retail with heritage at every visit.

A dedicated partner zone for Audi required display technology capable of operating at scale across two floors simultaneously. TRISON Germany installed a multi-panel glass LED system spanning the full height of the open atrium, playing co-branded content from the Audi × FC Bayern campaign. Below, a touch-interactive kiosk allows visitors to explore player vehicles in detail. The staircase itself was integrated into the display concept — an Audi-branded track element runs along the central banister, connecting both levels visually.

Two circular interactive displays are integrated into the street-facing windows of FC Bayern World. Each unit combines a sensor and a high-brightness screen — visitors step onto marked foot positions and the system captures a photo alongside Bayern players. The display format is custom, designed specifically for the curved window reveals of the historic building. Consequently, the units serve simultaneously as interactive touchpoints for visitors and as dynamic digital signage visible from the street outside.
Every screen, ticker and interactive display in FC Bayern World is part of one integrated system — managed, controlled and delivered by TRISON.
A fully equipped gaming zone occupies a dedicated area within the store, providing visitors with a football simulation experience. The setup includes a large overhead monitor and a secondary display at eye level, running partner gaming content. Additionally, LED tickers integrated throughout the retail environment deliver live club news and real-time information. The ticker system is embedded within a collage of historic FC Bayern match programmes and press covers — connecting live digital content to the club’s printed heritage.

The checkout area integrates a large diamond-format LED videowall directly behind the POS counter, displaying high-impact player imagery and club content. The installation uses the same angular geometry established by the ceiling LED system, creating visual consistency across the floor. Furthermore, a stacked LCD display column in the Kids section and additional signage panels throughout the retail floor maintain content delivery across all product zones — each screen managed within the same integrated system.

Multiple LED ticker displays are integrated throughout the store, delivering real-time club news and match updates. They are embedded within historic match programme collages, connecting live digital content to the club’s printed history.

Transparent LED screens are installed at key zone transitions within the store. They display full-motion brand content while maintaining sightlines through the glass — preserving the openness of the retail environment without interrupting the visual flow.

Dedicated display columns serve individual product zones throughout the store, including the Kids and Audi collection areas. Each column carries zone-relevant content, ensuring digital communication reinforces the product offer at every point in the customer journey.

The entire digital infrastructure was installed within a protected historic building in Munich’s city centre. All systems were designed to work within the architectural constraints of the listed structure, without compromising the heritage facade or the technical performance of any installation.
