Thank you for subscribing! X Madrid is conceived as the first Anti-Shopping Centre in Spain, an urban and innovative space that combines retail, leisure and entertainment in a disruptive way.
Merlin Properties set out to create Spain’s first anti-shopping centre — a 47,424 m² space that breaks away from traditional retail formats and connects with a new generation of consumers. The challenge was therefore to build an environment where retail, leisure and entertainment coexist without feeling conventional.
TRISON and TRISON Necsum approached the project as a full audiovisual and content integration. The TRISON Necsum studio designed interactive games and lighting together — ensuring technology and content worked as a single system. As a result, LED screens and dynamic lighting run across the centre to reinforce the space’s identity at every point.


Interactive games and digital activations invite visitors to participate, compete and share moments, turning leisure into a central element of the experience. In addition, fashion, sport, street culture and entertainment coexist in a fluid environment that adapts to different audiences and moments of the day.

A full AV ecosystem designed to make X-Madrid a destination, not just a shopping centre.
LED technology, architectural lighting and immersive digital installations work seamlessly across the centre as a single audiovisual ecosystem. As a result, X Madrid reinforces its identity as a creative, urban destination where retail becomes experiential, social and engaging.
This project has been recognised by industry leaders for its excellence in design, innovation, and execution.
