Bilbao, SpainRequiem is an immersive light and sound experience created by TRISON as a tribute to the victims of COVID-19, transforming Bilbao’s Cathedral of Santiago into a contemporary digital ceremony with global reach.
To create a respectful and emotionally powerful tribute during the COVID-19 pandemic, capable of honoring the victims while transmitting solidarity and hope within a historic and symbolic space.
TRISON designed a site-specific audiovisual intervention that combined light, sound, video art and live music, using the cathedral’s architecture as a canvas to amplify emotion and collective memory.
Requiem reinterprets the traditional concert format through immersive audiovisual language. Light, spatial sound and video art envelop the live performance of Fauré’s Requiem, transforming the cathedral into a shared emotional space where technology serves remembrance and reflection.
A digital experience designed to honor loss, express solidarity and create a shared moment of reflection beyond physical boundaries.
